Need Help Migrating My Custom PHP Site to WordPress – Facing Issues

    Hello WordPress Community,

I currently have a website built entirely with custom PHP, and I’m planning to migrate it to WordPress to make content management easier and more scalable.

The site is for my business, Rama Rehab – a Rehabilitation Centre in Delhi – and includes multiple pages, a blog section (manually created in PHP), and a contact form. I want to replicate the site’s design and structure in WordPress but am running into several challenges.

    Issues I’m facing:

    • Not sure how to properly migrate static PHP pages to WordPress pages or posts
    • Confused about how to convert custom PHP templates into a WordPress theme
    • Worried about SEO and preserving URLs during the transition
    • Contact forms and some scripts are not working after partial migration

Could someone guide me on the best practices or tools/plugins to use for this kind of migration? I’d also appreciate any tutorials or step-by-step suggestions for manually handling the process without breaking the existing site.

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Best regards,
    Rama Rehab
