Need help moving wordpress.com subscribers to self hosted site.

  Hello, I have moved my blog to a self hosted wordpress blog. I don’t see any way to transfer my wordpress.com subscribers. Can anyone help me with that?

  Hi there,

  We absolutely can get those transferred over for you, but in order for me to do so, I’ll need for you to first install a plugin on your new WordPress.org self-hosted blog.

  The JetPack plugin will give your site some additional functionality and will also let us add those followers who you originally had here at WordPress.com. You’ll need to install it here:

  http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/jetpack/

  Then follow the instructions to make sure that you’ve connected it back to us (the process will involve entering your WordPress.com username and password). Once you’ve finished that we’ll be able to migrate those followers!

  Please also respond back with the URLs for both the self-hosted WordPress.org blog that you’re moving to as well as the WordPress.com blog that you’ve moved from.
