Need help nesting new pages/posts within current pages

  Hi,

  I am trying to figure out how to basically create my blog as I envisioned it to begin with.

  Basically, you can see the site here: mixxedamberliz.wordpress.org . When you get to the page you see the tabs up top (entrees, desserts, etc). When the tab is clicked, what I would like to happen is to display a link to appropriate posts within that subcategory. For example…

  Click http://mixxedamberliz.wordpress.com/entrees/ . When going there, rather than the one recipe display on its own, I want to be able to link directly to posts from this page that fit under the appropriate subcategory (in this case, Entrees). As it stands, the only way to see the individual entrees would be to click on the post link on the right side of the page.

  Is there any simple way to do this? I have already tried to nest links on the individual pages, (for example, linking directly to http://mixxedamberliz.wordpress.com/2013/10/06/blackened-drum-or-other-redfish/ from http://mixxedamberliz.wordpress.com/entrees/ , but the link is not showing up on the Entrees page.

  BTW, it appears that trying to post a link using the visual page editor (rather than the text page editor) shows a ghosted icon (paperclip)… I was trying to insert links manually using the text editor – and again, they don’t show up on the page.

  Static pages do NOT automatically update. All of these are static pages that need to be replaced with dynamic categories pages that do automatically update:
  About
  Hors d’oeuvres
  Entrees
  Sides
  Desserts

  (1) There is only one page we can post to in any blog and
  (2) The static pages http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/ we bloggers create do not automatically update.

  Only the dynamic pages like Archives, Categories and Tags created by the software when we publish a post will update automatically update with new posts.

  By default the front page of the blog is the Page that displays all posts in your blog. You can create a static front page but doing that does not change what follows.

  Though there is only one dynamic page in a blog for posts (not pages) http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/ and we cannot post to more than that one page, we can create the appearance that we have posted to more than one page.

  We organize posts by assigning categories to them. You can create a custom menu and add the dynamic categories pages into the custom menu.

  We can also add other items into a custom menu like static Pages http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#adding-pages but as I said above no static Pages will ever automatically update.
