  Hi there,

  #1: To add a Category or Tag to a post, go to the post you want to add it to, go to Categories or Tags in the Document Settings, and add the Category or Tag. (You can also create new ones under Add New Category or Add New Tag.) You can see this at https://wordpress.com/support/posts/categories/#assigning-posts-to-categories/.

  I’m not sure about the second question, but I’m sure another volunteer or staff member will be able to answer shortly!
