  Is it better to transfer or map a domain from Go Daddy to WordPress? Not able to decide

  Hi there,

  I’ll like you to give a short summary or say difference between two so that it will be easy for you to decide.

  Using the Domain Mapping service means that you associate your domain with your WordPress.com site, but you renew the domain at your registrar (where you bought the domain), and renew your site plan here at WordPress.com.

  Using the Domain Transfer service means that your domain’s registration is moved over to WordPress.com and we then become your registrar, so all future renewals of your domain and plan for your WordPress.com site are managed and paid on your WordPress.com account.
