Need help on finding a plugin…
-
I have been trying to find a plugin or something similar that will do most if not all of the tasks I am trying to do. What I am trying to do is add a plugin or something to an employee portal we we building on wordpress. I am trying to give my managers (at different sites throughout the state) the ability to login to this employee portal and submit their ‘orders’ and also report todays ‘left overs’ for their particular account. Ideally I would like this info to be emailed and also added to a database that can be viewed by anyone I allow. Currently we use a spreadsheet or its done by hand with pen and paper and emailed/texted. I have tried to do it on a contact form but I am having problems with the calculations aspect as the form and on top of that making sure its saved to a database that is easily accessible. Is this possible or do any plugins that you guys know of do all this? I realize it could take a couple difference plugins to accomplish this.
Ideally it would be laid out similar to a spreadsheet with the item on a row and the columns being yesterdays order, todays order and the difference of those 2 numbers plus maybe a total of all items at the bottom. Hopefully this makes sense.
Thanks and sorry if this is confusing in anyway.

No. Blogger installed plugin capability does not exist on WordPress.COM blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality.
For that type of functionality, you’d need a self-hosted WordPress.ORG software install running on a paid web hosting service.

We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
(1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
(2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.Also, note that we do not provide Jetpack support https://jetpack.me/support/ for sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page.
Some Jetpack solutions are here http://jetpack.me/support/
Others are in the Jetpack support forum at WordPress.org
http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpackHowever, if help cannot be found at either one then they can file a Jetpack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
As you are referring to a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
