Need help on layout

  Hello,

  I would like to retain the current theme that I have. But I don’t want the entire post to be displayed. I would like to have the featured image with a few lines and a read more link. How do I do that?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  To create excerpts, please refer to the following support page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/excerpts/

  Note that the excerpt feature only works with certain themes. If your theme does not support excerpts, you can use the More tag instead.

  hi

  The more tag works fine, but it takes me to the paragraph where i have place the tag.. Is there any way where it can open the post from the begining in the new tab?

  Hi,

  This is a More tag property. Therefore, I suggest you to place it after one paragraph (as you did for your post “The Love That Holds My World”)

  Be aware that if people directly click on the title or the image of the post, it is going to open from the very beginning.
