Need Help On Removing Blog Post

    Hi Guys,

    Someone has posted a misleading false post about me on their wordpress blog. I want this post removed from the blog because it’s lies and the person who posted this is just trying to ruin my name and reputation.

    I am really offended by this and I want it deleted because this is violating my rights as a person, and bad information is posted without no hard proof. I tried contacting the administrator but haven’t got a response that it will be deleted. I haven’t done anything wrong and the person is just posting false accusations against me saying I’m a rip off ect. I’ve tried sorting things out with him, but he just don’t respond. There is no hard evidence I’ve done anything wrong.

    Where do I go to contact wordpress to take this post off which is not only offending me, it’s complete lies, people trying to ruin my reputation. Who do i contact about this matter.

    First off, there are two types of wordpress blogs. Those hosted here at wordpress.COM, and those that are self-hosted at third-party hosting services such as godaddy, dreamhost, etc.). The latter are not in anyway connected with wordpress. They are stand-alone. WordPress cannot help you with those. It would be like asking Microsoft to intervene when someone wrote something derogatory about you using MS Word.

    To determine if the blog is hosted here or not, go to the bottom of that blog and hover your mouse over the “wordpress” link. If it says, http://wordpress.org then it is self-hosted and you need to take things up with the blog owner. WordPress has no control over that blog.

    If it says http://wordpress.com then you need to read the links and post I made in this earlier thread about the same issue.
