Need help permanently enabling functional editor
-
The old, full function, useful editor is getting harder to access.
How do I permanently disable the horrible beep bap bam whatever editor and go back to the editor that has more function than a crayon coloring book?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thank you Musicdoc!
I had already found those though. I am looking for a way to completely disable the new editor so I don’t waste my time with it. It’s a horrible downgrade in both appearance and functionality.

That is NOT possible and we have known since March 18th that the link to the classic editor in the new editor will not be restored by Staff. To confirm read the update here:

I don’t want a link to the classic editor in the new editor. I want to be able to completely disable the new editor in every way, so I am never exposed to it again.

The Classic Editor will continue to exist in wp-admin. We know some users prefer to use this editor, so we want you to have access to it, instead of phasing it out with the new version of the Dashboard. However, a link to the Classic Editor will not return to the New Editor. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/when-editing-an-old-post-how-do-i-switch-to-the-classic-editor?replies=5 -

@ farmerbob1,
…disable the new editor in every way, so I am never exposed to it again.
Have you tried the Greasemonkey option in the page Going back to the classic editor, by tPenguinLTG. I’ve been using it for a couple of months and I never see a trace of the new editor, UNLESS I disable Greasemonkey.

I guess I’ll be unable to ever pay for any WordPress products ever again. A shame that they are shooting themselves in the foot in such an incredibly outrageous manner, completely ignoring their fiduciary responsibility to their shareholders. I have never, once, seen any individual speak up in favor of any of the massive threads expressing the community’s universal displeasure in these unneeded and unwanted changes to how wordpress works for content creators.
It’s almost like WordPress is intentionally trying to drive itself out of business.

Oh really! You are shareholder in Automattic Inc.? I mean who knew?
This what the rest of us know http://www.forbes.com/sites/jjcolao/2014/06/11/an-extended-interview-with-wordpress-creator-matt-mullenweg/ you were in league withWordPress.com is 10 years old and has become bloated software. WordPress.com provides free blogs and hosting for them for tens of thousands, maybe even hundreds of thousands of bloggers. WordPress software powers 23% of sites on the internet. Without doubt Staff will be continuing to develop the new user interface so bloggers the world over can access the site in multiple devices. Your belatedly shared unhappiness won’t change their plans, so you either use the workarounds or you don’t. The choice is yours to make.
P.S. I don’t use the script. I use what I published in 1 and 2 of my post that I linked to above.

WordPress.com grew to be what it is now on the platform that it is currently throwing out the window despite huge resistance from almost every individual that creates content.
You do not throw away success like that. It’s irresponsible, and I don’t have to be a shareholder or stakeholder to see it.

Oh, my concern about these changes is not new.
On the following page I had a discussion with Matt Mullenweg directly. We went back and forth a couple times and he was unable to provide any meaningful response to my criticisms of the changes. The lack of changes over the last few weeks made me think that, perhaps, since he had had no meaningful response in that exchange, he had reconsidered his position. Unfortunately not. He’s chosen to keep on Titanic-ing.
