Need help, pretty urgent to me.

  I have just learned that I can’t retrieve my deleted blog. (please don’t ask, it’s been a nightmare, not all of my own doing, long story. )

  BUT, I have another blog that I’ve been using for several months, and I was hoping maybe, since the address http://denisekincy.wordpress.com, the deleted blog address, is not available to anyone else if I could change the address of my other blog http://gigglewaterreview.wordpress.com to my old address.

  The reason is that I have a steady flow of regular readers across the internet who have the original address. The link is posted on writer’s message boards, lots of places, so if I could get my address back, I wouldn’t lose my audience.

  Please, please tell me that this is possible. It seems as if it would benefit wordpress to do this, since more traffic means more customers. Right?

  I have been with you guys for a while now and I really hope my loyalty will be rewarded with allowing this to be done.

  You can confirm this by checking the FAQs blog, the FAQs pink sticky at the head of the forum and using the forum search box.

  Once a name has been used it’s considered to be forever gone. In your case however it’s impossible for any volunteer on the forum to help you. Volunteers including drmike do not have backend access and cannot make policy decisions. IMO you ought to be sending in a feedback by using the feedback button on the top right hand side of any of your blog pages or by sending an email to support@wordpress.com
