Need help putting a widget up

  I want to put a box that will be available so people can sign up for my email list on MailChimp, but I can’t figure out how to do it. Please help. When I tried to do use blogroll, it just looked like a little link, and that’s not what I want.

  We don’t allow users to insert code, including Javascript that is generated by many third party sites due to security and stability concerns.

  For your site here on WordPress.com, if you want to use MailChimp, you can do so by creating a link to the signup form on hosted on MailChimp:

  If you need to embed your form on your site directly, you’ll need to use your own hosting provider and install the free WordPress software at WordPress.org.
