NEED HELP, question from a novice!

    First, I’d like to I really do need to figure this stuff out on my own. I can’t afford to hire help. Please let me know if I’m in way over my head.

    I also need to point out that my only goal was to have the Revver video plugin for my website. That being said, I finally figured out how to download WordPress, edit the file in TextEdit, made a database at GoDaddy, and upload with Fetch (I’m a Mac user). After a few hours of work, everything looked great. I now have a blog and I’ve downloaded, uploaded, and activated the video plug-in. What’s my problem, you ask?

    Well, I have a website for my company already established at my URL. The blog has taken over that URL and now when you type in my address, all you get is the blog and not my website. The videos I want to affect with the Revver plugin is on a subpage of my URL. The videos as of now are not reflecting the plugin.

    I hope this makes sense. Any ideas on what I did wrong and how to fix it? I’m pretty sure I need the wordpress blog in order for the video plugin to work, right? I’m don’t plan on using it, but what do I do with it and where do I put it?

    But, it would appear that all you have to do is rename the index page back to it’s original name, your company website and simply rename your blog title.
    INDEX = your company website
    New Blog = Your new blog site name.
