  so i deleted the pages in my site to replace them all, but now when i make a home page, theres still another default home page, even if i give it 1 page number

  any help is appreciated

  Do not panic. You changed the blog from having all posts appear on your front page to a static front page here > Settings > Reading

  Some themes have Home tabs coded into them. They are not actual pages and they cannot be removed. What you must do is create a custom menu and include only what you want in it.

  Go here > Settings > Reading Reading Settings
  Front page displays
  __ Your latest posts (select this)

  You’re welcome. Never panic. Always remember anything you do on your blog can be undone. Develop the “it’s only a blog mentality”, rather than the sense of urgency that leads to soaring blood pressure and the panic response when the unexpected happens. :)
