    I want to get a domain and host my site. do you have a plan or discount for 3 years purchase and do you charge the credit card automatically every year

    WordPress.com is already hosting your site at thegreenscarfs.wordpress.com. You will have a limited amount of data – and this limit will expand if you upgrade your account status.

    While there are no bulk discount rates that I know of, you can have your domain name automatically renewed every year if you choose to. (It is recommended that you do).

    What if I buy a domain on go daddy. Can i use that domain and let the rest of my site be hosted in the same way. Is that possible

    HI there,

    We don’t have any way to buy an upgrade for more than a year at a time, but also keep in mind that regardless of whether you buy a domain from us or from GoDaddy, you’ll still need a paid plan to connect the domain to your WordPress.com site. So if you buy the domain at GoDaddy to make use of a discount, you’ll still need to buy the same plan on our end, so it might actually end up costing you more.

    One domain is included free in all our plans, and each year if the plan renews, the domain will renew as well, so if you don’t have a domain yet, and the domain you want is one of the domains we sell, then I’d recommend you buy the domain directly from us. You can always transfer it out if you later decide to switch to another hosting platform.
