  I already have purchased my domain thevibeaffair.com & i just want to link it to my wordpress account, but its asking me to pay again

  If you want to use your custom domain on the wordpress.com platform, you need a paid plan – https://wordpress.com/pricing/ – together with a Domain Connection – https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/

  As @staartmees mentioned above, you can use a domain you own elsewhere by adding a domain connection, and it requires a WordPress.com plan.

  If you mainly want to use your domain, the WordPress.com Personal plan is a great starting point. This will let you set your domain as the primary address, remove ads, and also increase the storage limit for uploading media files.

  You can upgrade using the link below.

  Once you’ve upgraded, please follow the steps here to add your domain via Domain Connection and point your domain to WordPress.com.
