I hired a website designer to create my website using mycustomcake.com in 2009. This company is no longer in business and not available to give me access to make changes to my website. I need help accessing my website’s administrative page but have no log-in information.

mycustomcake.com is not a free hosted WordPress.com blog. You are posting to the wrong support forum. We cannot help you here as WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate.
This is the correct forum for your software http://wordpress.ORG/support/ If you have not registered a WordPress.org username account yet you can do so on the top right hand corner of the page I just linked to so you can post to those support forums.

mycustomcake.com is not a free hosted WordPress.com blog, it’s a WordPress.org self hosted install so you need to direct your question to http://wordpress.org/support
