Need help removing "Nothing Found" and search bar on homepage

I have built my site and dont want blog posts on my home page i just want the header image and the links to the pages..
i usderstand there is a way to add a static home page but i cant find out how and I also dont really want that.
I just want to delete the ‘Nothing found” and search bar

Hi @chuckblackart, did you still need help with this? You can avoid “nothing found” on the home page by using a static front page.
Also, since you’re using a portfolio theme, avoid using a portfolio template unless you have added items as portfolio projects, since that could also result in a “nothing found” message.
