Need help restoring premium plan to add noindex DNS

    Hello there,

I’m managing my sister’s website. She started a website on wordpress.com with a premium subscription. However, I am more comfortable working in wordpress.org and made a new website (https://boeketarlette.be). Sadly, I forgot to take the necessary steps to remove the Google indexation from the old website made with WordPress.com (https://boeketarlette.com) before deleting the WordPress.com subscription and site. So it still shows up on Google searches even after I deleted the website.

I have been able to restore the WordPress.com site but not the premium plan so I cannot add the domain to Google Search Console in order to tell Google not to index this website anymore.

Is it possible to restore the premium plan for a while, just so I can ask GSC to noindex this (empty and soon non-existing) website?

Thanks in advance for your help!
    Kind regards, Lien

Search engines don’t work in real time. They crawl a site every x days, weeks, months, … So you don’t need all that fuss. The next time Google crawls your site, it will see your site is no longer online and will remove the search results.

You could try to speed up this process as described at https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/11080680?hl=nl
