Need Help setting up Blog

Hi..spent about 7 hours working on the blog and am finding the designing and adding information VERY difficult (and I put together in the past a great website for my son so I do have a bit of technical ability). Can I hire someone to put together a simple blog for me? When I couldn’t figure out the free blogging design, I purchased one for $80 and still can’t make it look right! thanks!

Thanks..I did follow all of this and my blog does not look very professional. Not sure why I am not finding this very user friendly. Can I speak to someone over the phone who can help me with this? Are you able to take a look at what I have so far and provide some help?
