Need help setting up my website

  Hi I am trying to set up a website for my company. I already own a domain name and hosting with GoDaddy. I have a few questions:
  1. Do I need to have a paid subscription with WordPress to use my own domain name, or can I use the free subscription?
  2. If I need to use the paid subscription, which one would you recommend and why?
  3. What is the difference between the Basic and Premium subscriptions?
  4. Do I need to renew the subscription each year?

  Hi Preeti,

  1) You need to upgrade to a paid plan to use a custom domain name.
  2) It’s completely up to you but if you’re on a budget. You can go for the personal plan.
  3) You can find the difference in plans here –

  4) Yes the plans are billed yearly.
