NEED HELP. Submissiona and emails coming in werid new layout.

Just starting a few days ago all of my customer order submissions, emails, and contact forms now have a new look and design and they all come in with the title “Hey, a new form response just came in!”
I don’t like this. Is there any way I can revert back to how it was a few days ago? Is there any way to get rid of the “Hey, a new form response just came in!” and go back to their own title like it used to be? I really wish they would stop changing it. Every time they do this takes more time for me to have to learn and fix things.

Could you please let me know which plugin you are using for the contact form? Also, could you confirm where you are receiving these notifications from?

I am using the base program with no extra plugins. I use the default given contact form for a customer to contract me or place an order.
In the past 10 years I receive their connection through email. In the email title is says Order and shows the first line of the order or Contact and shows part of their message and lays everything out nicely.
Now, I get these weird emails that all look the same with the title “Hey, a new form response just came in.”
It says this for every type of message and email whether it be an order or contact me.

Also, the layout within the email now looks very different. So wordpress must have just done an overhaul/update to their layouts. I hate when they do this, because now instead of efficiency, I now have to spend the day doing emails like this and relearning their new system when I never asked for it or desire it. Its frustrating when they do this.
So my main question is, how do I fix and get rid of that goofy title “Hey, a new form response just came in.” And how can I revert back to the old layout style?
I really appreciate your help and anyone else that can chime in with ideas.

The people who help with the administration of our site have also complained about the new format. We don’t have a problem with the subject line itself as we have a bespoke subject line and that is still working and appearing correctly. The problem for us is that the email we receive has now loads of spaces in it as well as the extra line “Hey, a new form response just came in!” We print and file some of the emails. These now run on to 2 pages instead of 1 because of all the unnecessary spaces in there

So is there a fix for this? Why do they keep making these big changes without me having a choice?

This is the standard jetpack contact form that has been changed by someone who thinks it needed changing and who thinks that we all want/need a cheery “Hey, a new form response just came in!” line added. We often reply to our form enquiries with a simple reply that copies in the incoming email. We dont need this bit of nonsense text that makes us sound like we are amazed and in child-like ecstacy to have received an enquiry. Please remove it or make it customisable. While at it, why not include the sender’s last name in the email ‘from’ field.

I 100% agree with you Richard. I hope someone is working on it. At meadt give us the option to make it customizable, but I still prefer it coming in as a normal email showing the first line of the email.
