need help to change blog ownership…

I have “inherited” a blog of which I am attempting to take over maintenance. I would like to purchase the premium upgrade, but apparently am unable to do so until the ownership is changed. How do I accomplish that?

You accept an invitation to become and Admin of the blog sent to you by the blog’s only owner ie. the person with the username account that registered the blog in question. and Admin = an Admin
What the blog owner does is:
log in log in as Admin under the username account that registered the blog;
invite and add the second username account to become an Admin the blog destined to be transferred;

transfer the blog to the second username account.Then you will be able to login as Admin and purchase the upgrade for the blog.

I am an admin on the account already. However, I don’t have any options under my dashboard, like store, my blogs, etc. I suspect that when the blog is actually transferred these items will appear? I also don’t have the information as to who originally registered the blog.
So while I understand the process, I am missing something!

So you will never have a store in the Dashboard

OK, is it possible to migrate back to a .com install?

I have located the instructions on how to migrate from wp.org to wp.com.
I have exported my content from wp.org.
I have set up a .com account and with instructions to map my existing blog name wvbat.com.
I am purchasing the premium upgrade and have imported the blog file.
Now, do I just wait until I hear from someone in support?
