Need help to Customize Elemin Theme

  Hi,
  I am looking for help, I use Elemin theme and I want to change some of these things:

  1. How to remove ‘Search box’ at the header (above the word ‘Gerbang Inspirasi’)

  2. How to make my name in one line next to blog post, (8 May 2017
  By Aniatul Hidayah, in my blog, my name is cut become Aniatul and Hidayah is under Aniatul)

  3. How to make maximum posts shown in my home page something like 6 or 8 and when the user wants to read older post just click older posts links, because my homepage just keep scrolling until the end of total posts

  4. Is it possible to give author bio box before comment box in each blog post?

  Use these CSS codes:

  1. How to remove ‘Search box’ at the header (above the word ‘Gerbang Inspirasi’)

      display: none;
  }

   

  2. How to make my name in one line next to blog post, (8 May 2017
  By Aniatul Hidayah, in my blog, my name is cut become Aniatul and Hidayah is under Aniatul)

  .vcard {
      white-space: nowrap;
  }

   

  3. How to make maximum posts shown in my home page something like 6 or 8 and when the user wants to read older post just click older posts links, because my homepage just keep scrolling until the end of total posts

  Follow these steps:
  1. Go to: http://gerbanginspirasi.com/wp-admin
  2. Now go to Settings → Reading from the sidebar or just click here: http://gerbanginspirasi.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php
  3. Change the value of the “Blog pages show at most” field to 6 or 8
  OPTIONAL:
  Change the value of the “Syndication feeds show the most recent” field to 6 or 8 too.
  5. Uncheck “Infinite Scroll Behavior“.
  6. Scroll at the very bottom and click Save Changes button.
   

  4. Is it possible to give author bio box before comment box in each blog post?

  Yes, but it also depends on the themes that support author bio. Your theme elemin does not seem to support it. Here are the list of themes that support author bio feature: https://wordpress.com/themes/filter/author-bio, that pull author information from the About you section of this page: http://gerbanginspirasi.com/wp-admin/users.php?page=grofiles-editor

  Can I add a word ‘written’ in front of by? just to make it looks better. But if it cant, it’s ok :)

  Yes, the space is too narrow to fit everything on the single line. But here’s the CSS code to increase the space:

  .entry-meta {
      width: 120px;
  }

  adding this makes them in a single line but messes up the layout a bit.
   

  Can I add a word ‘written’ in front of by? just to make it looks better. But if it cant, it’s ok :)

  Yes you can, but remember you have to have the By and the Author name on separate lines if you want this, because the space is too narrow.

  Use this CSS to add “Written” before “By”:

  .sep:before {
      content: "Written";
  }
