Need help to delete an old blog which I had not written on for years

Hi, I desperately want to delete an old blog which i had written years ago realized that i have not access to delete the site.
Please help. -

You cannot delete a blog without being able to log-in to it. Staff cannot violate privacy policy and provide the email address to you. What you can do is try the log-in link http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ and then use the lost password link. Then you can check the possible email addresses you have that the blog could be registered under (also check the spam filters in them) to determine which email address you used.

The case is this, that I had not accessed the account for more than 2 years and had forgotten to set it as ‘private’.
The error message is that I do not have the necessary privileges to access the dashboard for “WordPress.com”, despite using same acct name and password.I could not delete anything
pls help. -
Note that you must be logged in under the same username account that created the blog in order to access the blog. Please post an active link starting with http:// to the blog in question. This thread has been flagged for Staff attention.

In order to take action on the blog, I’ll need to either receive a request from the sam[…] (at) gmail.com email address on the account, or receive confirmation of the account’s API key.
The API key was included in your welcome email.
Do you have access to that email address?
