Need help to get a post on my URL page

    Hi, Could someone help me?

    I created a wordpress site and i want my home page “content” to appear with in my original URL (http://shilohsdachurch.wordpress.com/). How can i get this? Every time i post the content for my home page, the URL changes; such as (http://shilohsdachurch.wordpress.com/home/). And i dont want to show who posted and when it was posted on the home page URL (http://shilohsdachurch.wordpress.com/) as well. Only the conent.

    Hope the question is clear.

    All blogs are structured in a manner that displays all posts on the Front Page of the site in reverse chronological order. If your posts are displaying on any other page then that is a result of your changing the settings here > Dashboard > Settings > Reading
    Look for this and choose “Your latest posts” and then scroll down and click “Save Changes”

    Front page displays
    ___ Your latest posts
    ___ A static page (select below)

    i dont want to show who posted and when it was posted on the home page URL

    Who posted ie. Author name
    The theme you chose is coded to display the name of the Author. If you do not want it to have an author name displayed then you can change to another theme that does not display authors. See > authors displayed or not > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/category/authors/

    when it was posted
    All URLs to posts on wordpress.com contain the publication date and that cannot be changed.
