Need Help Transferring Domain

    I’m currently trying to transfer the domain ‘paulasuebryant.com’ to Bluehost, and it’s past the 60 day mark of waiting for the domain to be unlocked (June 27, 2020) however, it still says it’s locked.

    This is the exact information:

    Domain: paulasuebryant.com
    Created: June 27th, 2020
    Expiration: June 27th, 2021 (301 days)
    Current Registrar: Automattic Inc.
    Transfer Lock: The domain paulasuebryant.com is currently locked from transfer (Status clientTransferProhibited).
    When you lookup the EPP Authorization code, you may also want to unlock the domain as well. This is not required at this stage of the transfer, but will be required before a transfer can take place.

    I looked up how I’m supposed to transfer domains from WordPress.com, but when I try to access My Site > Domains, I either get a search page or paulasuebryant.wordpress.com, which is obviously not what I’m looking for.

    I’m confused about what’s happening here, since I’ve been previously able to see paulasuebryant.com via WordPress.com, but now my only option is what I’ve mentioned previously. How do I find the EPP code I’m looking for? How do I unlock the URL?

    Hi there,

    Your domain is no longer under a mandatory 60-day transfer lock, but it is locked for unauthorized changes. That lock can only be removed by requesting the EPP code at My Site ->Manage ->Domains.

    It appears you tried to cancel that domain on 29 June, two days after you bought it. That cancellation failed, and at the same time cause an error that prevents the domain from appearing in your domain management page. I’ve requested a developer from our domains team to take a look at this.

    We’ll let you know as soon as it is fixed.
