Need help transferring followers to my self-hosted site.

I need help transferring my followers. My blog is at authormonicanelson.wordpress.com. I have moved over to http://www.authormonicanelson.com/wordpress/. I only have 25 followers, but I’ve worked hard to get those. I would like help getting them over to my self-hosted site. I see on the forums that people have contacted staff to help them, but I have not been able to reach anyone. Please help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

First you need to install the Jetpack plugin on your self-hosted blog. You can read more about Jetpack at http://jetpack.me . Once the plugin has been activated and connected, you can contact me and I’ll transfer the followers.

Please go to the Jetpack page on your blog’s dashboard to connect Jetpack to your WordPress.com account.

I believe it is already connected. When I click on the Connect button in the corner, it gives me a warning window that says I am about to disconnect all Jetpack modules.

I don’t see it connected to your account yet. Could you please try clicking the [Connect] button (again)?

I can do that if it is absolutely necessary to do, but when I click on it, it gives me a window that states “This will deactivate all Jetpack modules. Are you sure you want to disconnect?” before I can proceed. If I say OK, I am afraid I will lose all the work I’ve put into it. It took quite a while to get everything looking and working as I want it to.
Do you still want me to do that?

I have completely reinstalled the latest wordpress, and then reinstalled jetpack, activated the twenty-ten theme, and imported my content all over again. Jetpack is connected. I have not set anything up yet.

We did this because I wanted my site directly under authormonicanelson.com instead of authormonicanelson.com/wordpress.

Hello, I think I have had a similar problem. I have disconnected and reconnected. Am I able to move subscribers over or is this something WordPress have to do?

Provided you install and activate the JetPack plugin http://jetpack.me on your WordPress.org install, and provide the relevant URL(s), then Staff will do the transfer of subscribers and stats for you. Please do that now so it’s ready for Staff to make the transfer. -
Thank you. I have installed and activated. It says it is connected to wordpress.com and I had to select Fiftytwocreate so I think i’m all set up!
