Need help uploading picture on sidebar on blog

  I have tried and tried and I can’t seem to upload a picture to go on my sidebar. I have selected the url image and it will not upload. What am I doing wrong?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You need to either upload the image in you blog media library or if you have the url to the image. In both cases

  Add a text widget to your blog sidebar by going to Appearance>Widgets
  and copy the below code into the “text” widget

  <img src=”url” alt=”some_text”>

  Replace url with image url and some_text with text related to your image

  Hi there,
  Not every theme here has a sidebar.

  What is the exact URL starting with http:// of the site you refer to please?

  I’m asking because we cannot accurately answer questions posted here until we have confirmed the URL referred to and verified the hosting.

  Please always confirm the URL and hosting. About 30% of those who post here are posting to the wrong support forum.

  Know that not every wordprtess.COM theme has sidebar, and that WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG run different versions of some themes with the same names.

  (1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
