Need help uploading posterous blog

  I have been trying for weeks to download my posterous blog. Finally the zip file downloaded and it is empty. Finally someone from posterous got back to me saying some windows users are having a hard time with the download. Is there anything you guys can do to help? I am not computer literate and I need to save my blog content, it is my 2 year old daughters chronicle of her life. Thanks!!!!

  Have you read this entry? http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/import-from-posterous/ You cannot upoad a zip file. It must be an xml file. Go here http://browserhappy.com and try downloading and using either Firefox 20 or Chrome 26.

  did not work for me either, i did receive an xml file of 26 mgs but was not able to upload it ti WP…
  i am running linux ubuntu studio with firefox 16…and adblock +

  26 MB is way too large for an average XML file, it sounds like you’re trying to upload the whole .zip archive.

  Please make sure that you’re only importing the wordpress_export_1.xml file.
