Need Help w/Copyright Line Left-Justified On Footer of Standard Theme

  I have a blog (not yet in public view) that uses The Standard Theme. I’d like to have a copyright line in my footer just like this one (using my own message, of course and keeping the WordPress stuff intact):

  Someone gave me the following code:

  #sub-floor #credit a:first-child:before{
  content: “© 2016 Blah Blah Blah. “;
  }

  The problem is that the Copyright stuff is immediately to the left of the WordPress stuff and not completely left-justified, as in this blog:

  I would love to get this blog up and going. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Hi there, replace the code you have for the copyright with the following, or modify what you have to look like this.

  #sub-floor #credit a:first-child::before {
      content: "© 2016 J.M. Waldron. All Rights Reserved. ";
      display: inline-block;
      float: left;
  }
