Need help with adding plug ins such as Addthis?

  Hi,

  First of all I am not particularly technical at all so go easy.

  I’ve been searching the forums all night trying to figure out how to get the widgets that you see on lots of blogs to be added to the bottom of my post. I’ve seen lots og blogs with Addthis among others and I’m stuck as to what to do – basically I’m trying to get a few more hits to my site: http://onceuponathyme.wordpress.com/

  From what I’ve read there seems to be a difference between the functionality between wordpress .com & .org so I really am confused as to what I can do, and certainly how to do it.

  What I really want is the buttons at the bottom of the posts in this blog : http://www.aspoonfulofsugar.net/wp/

  Can anyone help?

  The site you reference as an example is a self-hosted blog so it is easier for them.

  You will have to do this manually for each post. This explains how to do “addthis”: http://support.wordpress.com/addthis/ .

  Many people prefer the “get social” method, but it is limited to Windows users. You can find a good tutorial on using get social here: http://teckline.wordpress.com/2008/09/05/getsocial-video-tutorial/ .
