Need help with being able to edit my articles without causing the spacing to change.

For some reason whenever I try to add new text to my old articles, it causes all the spacing between the different sections and equations of my articles to go away. I then try to fix the spacing and I have a hard time doing that. Is there any way to add new text without messing with the spacing?

  • Good Morning –

I’ll be glad to take a closer look at what’s going on. Can you point me to which post or page you’re having the problem with the spacing on? If you’re able to take a screen shot of the issue(s) and put them in the site’s media library that will be super helpful as well.

    Hi Staff Zinnia,

My apologies but I am having a hard time finding an example on my blog. I just know that when I add text to any post on my blog and then save it and preview it, it will get rid of all the spacing throughout the article. Then it is hard to fix the spacing. I am pretty sure a lot of my articles were first created with the classical settings.

    Hi there:

It’s quite possible that posts created in the Classic Editor may have issues in the more recent Block Editor. However, without any concrete examples of the problem in question, it’s impossible to confirm without being able to troubleshoot the issue.

Let us know if you edit a post and it looks off and we’ll take a closer look. It would also help if you took a screenshot of the page before and after editing to better highlight the problem.

    Thanks!
