  I need to cancel/delete a domain we never used and need help

  I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

  You’ve already canceled the domain when you deleted the site it was attached to. :)

  I see that. I know we had it on automatic renewal, is there any way how we can get a refund for this year which we are not going to use it?

  No, since the domain portion is past the refund window: https://wordpress.com/support/manage-purchases/#refund-policy

  I can restore the domain to your account though if you’d like.

  All WordPress.com users can get help from support staff from your account page:

  https://wordpress.com/help/contact

  WordPress.com users with paid subscriptions will get routed to email support (and live chat on certain plan levels).

  Free WordPress.com users and users with domain purchase without a plan get routed to forums support (which is where you ended up).
