need HELP with custom css on Theme: Mistylook by Sadish.
-
I recently upgraded my account to be able to use custom css so that I’d be able to change the coloring on Theme: Mistylook by Sadish., I enjoy the layout but the greenish colored fonts repulse me.
Most of it is done, including a new custom image that was added to my wordpress, however I’ve been turning in circles trying to change the title color in the sidebar, (calendar, Archives, Bloggroll, Meta) They remain green (#224422), I’ve gone through the css numerous times, but can’t seem to find the color:yadayada; for those titles.
Some help with this issue would greatly appreciated!

The likelihood IMO of a css expert dropping into the forum to help during the holiday season is pretty low so please be patient.
You have 3 elements to play with: face / size / color
face – the style of type. Here is one site with examples: http://typetester.maratz.com
size – experiment with different sizes. Look at the example above
color – use a hex code for the best range. Here is one site with colors: http://www.visibone.com/colorlab/big.html -
I’m no CSS expert but I think the color is in this part:
`}
li.sidebox h2 {
font-weight: normal;
font-size: 1.6em;
text-align: left;
color: #242;
font-variant:small-caps;
}’Try changing the color there.
Good job, BTW, with your theme. I really like the colors you have chosen.

Hmm – why didn’t the backticks work? Trying again.
`
}
li.sidebox h2 {
font-weight: normal;
font-size: 1.6em;
text-align: left;
color: #242;
font-variant:small-caps;
}

Interesting that you show a different color # than I do in the same location. Wonder why that is?
