Need help with customizing content under About and Contact Menu options

I created a new site/blog. There are three menu items on the page, Home, About, and Contact. Clicking on About and Contact displays boilerplate text. I want to replace the boilerplate text with my specifics. So far I haven’t determined how to do that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you Amanda, that page was what I was looking for and allowed me to customize those menus.

Several people have clicked the “follow” button on my website and been confused by the dialog that displayed. One person said they were prompted to enter their email then asked for a password.
Another person clicked on a like button and was prompted to do something that involved Gravatar.
Can someone explain what these people are seeing so I can help them understand what to do?
