Need help with customizing form submission message and an output question

I am building a form for potential volunteers. I was able to add additional fields through hard coding on the page (apparently there was a limit on how many fields the form creator would allow), but I would like custom text to show after the user submits the form. Right now it just shows a list of all the fields with their responses. I would like some kind of message.

Also, any suggestions on how to send responses into a CSV file? I would like to avoid having to enter them by hand. Should I try to embed a google form? That seems like a less-than-elegant option.

Finally, how can I change the destination email address once the form is built? I tried once after building the form and it removed my ‘customizations’ so I had to start over.

    Any ideas are appreciated!

Hi there, yes there is a limit on the number of fields you can have. I’m not sure of the number though. There isn’t an option to have our contact form write to a CSV. On the message after submission, that is again something that we can’t add here at WordPress.com.

Google forms is an option, but you many also want to check out Wufoo forms, which are integrated here.

In our Contact form here, you can set a destination email address and then if you wish to change that later, you can switch to the Text tab in the editor and edit the email address as desired.
