Need help with deleted blog that isn't really deleted

  I used to have a primary blog at indieauthormarketing.wordpress.com and then I got the custom domain and pointed it at wordpress.com. I deleted the original free blot (which was the primary) and now it will not let me use the new domain as a primary blog. When I go to customize the theme, the dashboard URL is the old one but it won’t let me do anything to the blog now. Also, wordpress.com won’t let me sign up for the old free URL saying it is used. I am WordPress hell. Anybody know the way out?

  On WordPress.com, a custom domain, like indieauthorbookmarketing.com, must be associated with a WordPress.com site, like indieauthorbookmarketing.wordpress.com, where your content is actually hosted.

  Also, I have visited indieauthorbookmarketing.com and viewed several of its pages, and it appears to be functioning correctly:

  Can you please try clearing out your cache and cookies?

  Thanks much for the info. I worked on it this morning and I think the problem I was having was with the theme. I will let you know if I run into more trouble.
