Need help with DNS settings so I can transfer my domain

    I need to transfer my domain asap and squarespace needs specific DNS entries to complete my request. I am not sure what this is or how to do it. Thanks

    Hi there,

    What domain do you need help with? The account you’re using to post here doesn’t own any custom domains on WordPress.com.

    If you’re speaking of mindbodypalate.com, you cancelled that domain on 13 May and no longer own it. It’s not possible to transfer a domain you don’t own.

    At this point we can still restore the domain to your account. Please confirm if you want us to do that.

    Transferring a domain registration does not involve DNS in any way. The only thing modifying DNS can do is to point the domain at another provider, but it won’t have any effect on where the domain is registered, so it doesn’t sound like Squarespace is clear on what you actually want to do.
