Need help with DNS settings to point to WordPress instead of Squarespace

    I recently was experimenting with Squarespace, and changed my DNS settings on Bluehost to point to Squarespace. However, now I want to change it back to WordPress.

    I have deleted the new DNS records which I created for Squarespace, and edited the CNAME for host ‘www’. While I was experminenting with Squarespace, I changed this to ‘ext-cust.squarespace.com’, but I do not remember what it was before!

    Is this supposed to be my website domain ‘rabiahmad.com’, or something else?

    Would appreciate any help.

    Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com but instead a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.

    We cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. But, I can get you pointed in the right direction.

    You should reach out to your host for help with this issue. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and are the best ones to help you with this issue. Since it sounds like you’re hosted with Bluehost, you should contact them for help: https://www.bluehost.com/contact
