Need Help with Email Change

  I entered the below last night but no replies. The email address change still shows as pending under settings. If the community doesn’t know the answer, who can help me with this?:

  Trying to change email address on my account. The confirming link that comes to the new email goes directly to the login page and the change doesn’t take effect. The email address I’m trying to change it to is not associated with another wordpress.com account. Help!

  Thank you so much for that! I actually deleted the website associated with the account (which was my husband’s) so I can now use the account for myself, meaning I don’t need to change the email address. It is resolved for me, but the problem still exists. I noticed that others had the same problem as well. Thanks again!

  Hi Cindy,

  I see that Kris helped you with this issue via email and updated the email address on your account.

  For a pending email change to be confirmed, you may need to log in to your WordPress.com account first and click (or copy and paste) the confirmation link to complete the change. You should be all set with your account but please feel free to reply here or to the email from Kris if we can do anything more to help.
