Need help with expiration overlay

  I was wondering if any admins could fix an issue I’m having. I paid to have the domain hucardheaven.com but decided to let the subscription run out. Now when I visit hucardheaven.wordpress.com I get an overlay saying it’s unavailable. Can someone help me with this?

  Sure can! :)

  I’m tagging this thread for Staff attention, they’d be able to remove the domain and its associated expiration message. To get a notification, make sure you’re subscribed to this thread.

  Hi Chris,

  If you no longer wish to own the domain, hucardheaven.com you may cancel it by clicking the “Cancel the Domain” button on the overlay or from your My Upgrade page at:
  https://wordpress.com/my-upgrades

  If you have any trouble with those steps let us know and we can cancel the domain for you. To have us cancel the domain for you, please confirm that you understand once a domain is canceled it may not be available to you again.

  When I click that I get:

  “You cannot cancel this domain because it was not registered with WordPress.com. Please contact support”

  Positive I registered it with wordpress. I wouldn’t even know where else to go to register it.

  Humm… That’s odd. As previously mentioned, if you’d like we can cancel it for you. Just confirm you understand that once canceled the domain may not be available to you again.

  Hi Chris,

  After a second look I see what’s going on, since the domain expired 69 days ago it was in the redemption period but had already been returned to the registrar.

  I have removed the domain from your site which may now be seen at:
  http://hucardheaven.wordpress.com
