Need help with Gateway theme: page width
-
I’m using the same theme for two of my sites, but the one refuses to show the button in the “hero” section as well as adding a sidebar that I don’t need simply because I had another theme first that had a sidebar.
How to I remove the sidebar and get my landing page centered?
This one’s extra functions came out well: https://yogawithangelique.wordpress.com/
This one is frustrating: https://yourpersonalfacialist.wordpress.com/
PS. I don’t have a paid account to edit the CSS/HTML. Do I have to create a whole new website to fix this or is there some way to reset it without buying something?
Please help! Thank you for your time.

On https://yourpersonalfacialist.wordpress.com/, it doesn’t look like you are using the Home Page template.
Under My Site > Pages, edit the page you have selected as your front page. At the moment, that’s What does your skin really need? If you don’t know, find out now!.
Under Page Attributes select the Home Page template.
Then you should be able to manage and view the settings that have been giving you trouble :)
You can also see a bit more about Gateway’s setup on the info page:
