Need Help With Header Images

    Hello

    I am having an issue with my header images.

    My home and posts pages are both static – My home page is “Home” on my menu (https://travelindsay.com/), and my posts page is “Blog Posts” (https://travelindsay.com/blog-posts/). This was set under homepage settings when customising my theme (Bard Pro).

    Both of these pages have my logo in their header, which I have uploaded in the Header section when I customised my theme. However, I want my Blog Posts page header to be different. I have edited the page directly and uploaded a custom header image there but its not working, its just reverting to the universal header image. This worked for all my other pages/ posts just not the Blog Posts page. I suspect it has something to do with the fact that my Blog Posts page is set as my “Posts Page” from my homepage settings in the customiser but I’m not sure how to fix it. Please help.

    Hi there,

    Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. For help with your version of WordPress you can ask here:

    However, I want my Blog Posts page header to be different.

    Unless your theme specifically supports this, it won’t be possible. The posts page will show the custom header set for the entire site by default, as that’s how the WordPress software is designed.
