Need help with HTML
-
Hi I was wondering if there is a way to get the HTML for the Recent Comments and add it to a text widget so I don’t have to look at those girly flower seperators from the WordPress themes.
This is the theme…..look at the sidebar seperators. Thanks, guys!

Those girly flower separators are part of the theme you are using. Using a text widget will not get rid of the problem, as they will appear between all widgets.

If you have the CSS upgrade you can remove them quite easily. Mark provides the snippet of code in the following thread:

Thanks, guys….is there a way to not show the ‘pages’ on the front page if it is part of the theme?
-
Put the Pages widget in the sidebar to display the links to the static Pages. Also note that if you click on the blue and white icon on the Pages Widget you have configuration options to choose from inside it.

That is how I have now….html link to pages but if I go with the Rubric theme it makes all the pages as links on the banner. I did not see a way in the page options (on the right of the edit page) to hide them unless clicked.

I’m looking at the blog linked to your name in the Neat theme http://completist.wordpress.com/
Re: Rubric theme
If you open the Pages widget you can see options in it to exclude pages from displaying by page ID’s -
