Need help with image slider

    Hello everyone,

    So I have just bought my premium theme, am setting up my first every WordPress website, this is the one that I have selected – https://wordpress.com/theme/natural

    I cannot seem to replicate the slider in the demo on the home page, does anybody know of any Youtube video instructions to do this ? or better explanations ? because I have tried the set up steps, that’s not working, do I need to download some kind of plug in ?

    Hi @luminousfitness!

    Don’t worry, no plugin required.

    Here are the steps to set up the slider on Natural:

    1. Open My Site > Customize and choose the Featured Content section.
    2. Enter the name of the tag you want to use to fill in the slider. Every post with that tag will go into the slider (assuming it has an image that the theme can display)
    3. Publish your posts – create a few posts with Featured Images . In the Categories and Tags section of the editor, make sure your tag is assigned.

    You’ve completed steps one and two already – it looks like you’ve set ‘Nutrition’ as your Featured Content tag.

    The next step is to publish some posts with that tag assigned to them.

    Make sure the posts have a Featured Image, and that they are published (drafts won’t appear in the slider).
