I have no clear idea what the implications are for my website (www.metherapy.com.au) when I start working with a subdomain or mapping. I do not understand the tutorials.

I want my WordPress blog to participate on the wordpress.com site but still connected with my website http://www.metherapy.com.au I realise that my blog on my website should go in favour of my WordPress blog.

is there a consultant who can help me?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi!

I’m happy to help. So, if I understand correctly, you would like a link on metherapy.com.au to direct readers to your blog, which would live at metherapyspiritualhealing.com. Is that correct?

Currently, it looks like you have a “Blog” link in your menu pointed to meridiansenergytherapy.com.au/blog as shown here:

    http://d.pr/i/13vNM

Would you like to change that to metherapyspiritualhealing.com?

If you could clarify exactly what you’re looking for, I can definitely help you to sort this out!

Thanks Jeremy. It would be great if you can help me.

It is correct that I currently have a blog on my website but would rather have a link that would link to metherapyspiritualhealing .com

My web designer say they can do that, but they cannot do more.

    My questions are:
    1. If a non-blogger goes from my website to my WordPress blog can the non-blogger become a registered user? (They can on my website blog)

    2. How can I lead readers of my WordPress blog to my website as potential client?

    Kind regards,
    René

Can you elaborate on what you mean by registered user? What kinds of features would you expect this new user to have? WordPress.com does not have membership capability.

How can I lead readers of my WordPress blog to my website as potential client?

You could put a link in the menu of your WordPress.com blog that points readers to your main site. That way, if they’re interested in checking out your services, they can find out more. Would that work?

Registered users on my blog get an email message each time I post a new post.

Yes, a link back to my website would work. How and where do I place that link?

Ah – got it! Readers can definitely subscribe to your blog as described here:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/following/

    That’s enabled by default!

Yes, a link back to my website would work. How and where do I place that link?

You would want to create a custom menu as explained here:

    Menus

Then, you could add a custom link, which is explained here:

Okay, subscribing is possible – thanks. Only I can not find that particular button on my blog.

Yes, I have added a link to my website, – great!

Can I ask another question or do I have to start a new support ticket?

    Hi!

Okay, subscribing is possible – thanks. Only I can not find that particular button on my blog.

You’ll just need to add the subscription widget to your sidebar. More on that here:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/follow-blog-widget/

Can I ask another question or do I have to start a new support ticket?

Could you open a new ticket? That way, we can keep this thread short and succinct for others if they find it when doing a search. Let me know once you open the new thread, and I’ll take a look!
