Need help with Mistylook header!

I copied and pasted the code and then I didn’t think to mentioning that (in my opinion) it is a good idea to coordinate bg color with the background image – or why. In many cases I ponder whether to go into detail when answering a question here in the forums or not, because a lot of questions end up taking me mentally into my design decision making process and this forum is mostly about technical rather than design issues.

Eh! where to draw the line?

If I may put my $0.02 on the table, not only is a good idea to define a bg color with a bg image BUT is also a *good* practice, especially for the reasons TSP already described.

Just going back to hiding the text of the title… I am using the mistylook theme and have a banner that I want to use with the name of my blog included in it. Is there any way to delete the text that currently sits above it without deleting the actual title of my blog?

My blog is http://thecornernz.wordpress.com or thecorner.co.nz

You have to have familiarity with CSS, and the paid CSS upgrade to hide the title.

Thanks, it’s good to know it can be done. Do you also know if I’ll be able to make my new banner link back to my homepage by using CSS?

No, you cannot change the functionality of a theme with CSS. You can just pick a different theme, though.

Ok Im reading this and am too looking to either 1) enlarge, change color of blog name above the banner and 2) include a logo I designed with the name. I am not too tech savvy but my million dollar question is. Is there an expert on CSS who would help me do this (of course would pay for time) once I buy the CSS upgrade. No idea where to find an expert who would do this for me.
