Need help with my header

  Hi,

  Just started up my blog and I’m trying to customize the look. I’ve added an image to the header and I want to shift the title to the left so it’s not obstructed by the image, is this possible? If so, how? mandalus.wordpress.com

  Did you possibly mean shift it to the right?

  That cannot be done without some CSS editing experience and the paid CSS upgrade.

  You could widen the image with a black background and put the text for your blog title and tagline directly into the image to the right, and then under appearance > custom header, hide the title text.

  Yes, I meant to the right…blah, long day.

  Ok, I was thinking of doing that but as I only have AutoCAD and Paint as software that can edit images, I wanted to see if I had other options first. Thank you

  The paid CSS upgrade would be the only other way.

  Here’s one image editor I use. Might take a while to learn it and get the hang of it.

  There is also Gimp, which is a free download and although I’ve never used it, people say it is quite good.
