Need help with pointing domain name to new wordpress website

  I purchased a domain name for our business many years ago and we have a website up. I created a new website using wordpress and I am trying to use our domain name with my newly created wordpress website but I can’t figure out how to point our domain name to the new wordpress website.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi jennifercsilvas,

  If you want to use your old domain name on your new wordpress.com blog you will have to “map” or point the domain name to the new location. You have to go to wherever you bought the domain name, log in with your credentials, and point the DNS records to wordpress.com

  If you don’t have a premium account, it seems there is a $13 / year paid upgrade to point a custom domain to a wordpress.com blog.
