Need Help with PORT THEME
-
We’re having serious trouble getting a button shortcode to work on the homepage, which the PORT theme advertised as a feature. On the demo it’s listed as a “Call to Action” button.
Everytime we try to activate it the code just appears – raw code, no button
Really frustrated because this is an advertised feature that not working.
Emailed Henry Jones of Themetrust.com directly and he told us to post our question in this forum.
We’re on a deadline & would love some help

Hi there,
I’m sorry that you’re having trouble with this. Can you provide me link to the page where you have added this button? I’d be happy to take a further look at the code.
It states in the theme support guide that you can add a button like this:
First, add a link. Then switch over to the Text tab so you can edit the HTML. To turn your link into a button, simply add the button class like this:
<a href="your-url-goes-here" class="button">This is a Button</a>I look forward to your reply!
